Dr. Charles

Jennifer L.K. Charles, MSW, Ph.D.

Jennifer L.K. Charles, MSW, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the National Catholic School of Social Service at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Charles’ clinical social work background is in community mental health, including crisis stabilization and mobile crisis response. Guided by her practice and educational experiences, Charles’ research concentrates on the identification of and issues related to the stigma of mental illness. She is a member of the NCPD Council on Mental Illness.
