In collaboration with colleges and universities, NCPD trains ministry leaders to explore the rich teachings of the Catholic intellectual tradition, implement practical accessibility tips, and teach adaptive faith formation. These trainings ensure that parishes across the country have the tools they need to support the vocations of persons with disabilities through conferences, symposia, webinars, courses, and professional development.
Target Audience:
Pastoral Leaders
NCPD works with pastoral formation programs and colleges and universities to ensure that all Church ministers are educated in disability access and ministry needs in a parish context.
Clergy, Religious, and Seminarians
NCPD offers theological, canonical, and pastoral resources to clergy and religious needed to proactively serve the disability community.
Academics
NCPD offers disability and theology lectures, symposia, and networking opportunities that explore disability in light of the Church's rich teachings on the human person and ecclesiology.
