Strategic Planning for Leadership: A Roadmap to Fulfilling Your Catholic Mission

Developing and executing an annual (or biannual) strategic plan offers Catholic ministries and missions focus as well as a roadmap to achieving measurable outcomes. Join Joellyn Cicciarelli, President and Publisher of Loyola Press, in an informational session that will provide explicit ideas to effectively craft a plan, communicate it, and act upon it with care and confidence.

Joellyn Cicciarelli

President and Publisher of Loyola Press

Joellyn, prior to her role as President and Publisher of Loyola Press, served the organization as Vice President of New Product Development and Director of Curricula Development, leading the editorial and design teams. With 25+ years’ experience in publishing, Joellyn Cicciarelli has written numerous children’s books and developed award-winning literacy programs, religious education curriculum for all ages, and books and resources for adults. She was editor for Fred Rogers of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, producing his longest-running book series for teachers, Grow and Learn with Mister Rogers. Joellyn is the architect of many Loyola Press products, including Adaptive Finding God, a comprehensive faith formation program for children with disabilities. Prior to her career in publishing, Joellyn was an elementary school teacher in the states of Michigan, Illinois, and California, receiving the honor of Teacher of the Year for the Santa Ana Unified School District in 1993. Joellyn has been a speaker at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, the Mid-Atlantic Congress, and a variety of regional and diocesan events. She holds a degree from Aquinas College and was awarded the Aquinas College Outstanding Alumnus Award in 2021 and TITAN CEO recognized her as one of the 2024 Top 100 CEOs & C-level executive’s honorees.
