Maria Arvono is a nurse supervisor at the Community Hospital in Southern New Jersey. She received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Villanova University and a Master's degree in Healthcare Ethics from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. She is also an author and a retreat leader. Her specialties include Divine Mercy, chronic pain, end of life issues and healing.

Physician Assisted Suicide
Timothy C. Sever is a senior adjunct professor at the Loyola University of Chicago School of Continuing Professional Studies and the Lewis University College of Humanities, Fine Arts and Communications. Timothy has a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics and his dissertation is entitled Scripture and Bioethics: A Moral Assessment of Physician-Assisted Suicide. He is interested in Vatican II-era theology and the intersection of scripture, ethics and spirituality in social and biomedical ethical reflection and how such reflections can inform consciences and address contemporary injustices among the vulnerable because of economic, political and social disempowerment.
